I seek refuge with Allah from the stoned Shaitan
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Assalamualiakum wa rahmatullah hi wa barakatuhu .. =)
As this is my first post, i thought of writing something from the beginning. Muslim Brothers and sisters can keep reading for refreshing Imaan. So starting from the basics, for the non-Muslims, who is Allah? In short, Allah is the only God. From a fish that rolls in water to the mightiest of mountains, all are the creations of Almighty Allah. Only He has the right to be worshiped. He is Omnipotent and Omnipresent.
He is Allah, whom there is none worthy of worship except He, the All-Knower of theunseen andthe seen (open).
He is the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. He is Allah, whom there is none worthy of worship except He, the King, the Holy, the One Free from allimperfections, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, theCompeller, the Supreme. Exalted is He above all that they associate [in worship] with Him.He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms.
To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him.And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
(Al-Hashr 59:22-24)
Now it leads to the question: What is the proof? Belief only requires faith. Although Evidence Evidence Evidence! Of Course. As of my thinking, the presence of Allah cannot be denied by one who has the least bit of brains or you can say common sense. Lets think for a moment: When you see a watch, who do you think made it? Duh a watch maker. Isn't it? To something more big. Again when you see a building suppose the Birmingham Palace. It came into being on its own? NO? It does not require maintenance or it keeps working on its own. NO? Then, by simple logic, how can a world of this systematic and orderly arrangement came into being on its own. Oh a sudden big bang created it and nothing went wrong. A simple kid of no more then an IQ of 80 will reject the Big Bang theory. Even the famous Physicist Sir Isaac Newton in his first law of motion states that nothing changes without the application of external force. Lets for a moment think that the big bang theory, supposedly, is true. Then why didn't a Big Bang occur again in the billion years the world has lived? No other life forms on planets ever found? Aliens just a supposed word? Challenge Your Thoughts! If creatures on earth can come into being on their own, why not Other forms? Where did all the matter come from? Although there are a lot more proofs. I will just stay on these because IF you are a believer or are going to be one(hopefully InshaAllah) no matter how much you look, they will always support the presence of Allah. =)
We have created you, so why do you not believe? Have you seen that which you emit (i.e., semen which contains the potential for human life)? Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator? We have decreed death among you, and We are not unable, to transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you do not know. And you have already know the first creation (i.e., the creation of Adam), so will you not remember? And have you seen that [seed] which you sow? Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower? If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment), [Saying], “Indeed, we are [now] in debt; Rather, we have been deprived.” And have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter (and undrinkable), why then are you not grateful (to Allah)? (Waqi'ah 56:57-70)
Now it comes to Islam And Quran. Basically Islam is Quran. Quran is the revelation of Allah that descended upon the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallalhu alaihi wasalam.
It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error.
(Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)
Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful."
(Al-Furqaan 25:6)
So anyone who follows the Religion Islam is bound to follow all the commands present in the Quran. For the very basic knowledge Quran is divided into 7 bigger sections named "manzils". Then It is also divided into small 30 sections named "Paras" and again into 558 smaller sections named "ruqoos". It has 114 Surahs.
And for more information, Muslims also believe that the Christianity and Jew-ism are the religions from the true God Allah but as for now only Islam is to be followed and acceptable.
The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded. (Al-Maa’idah 5:75)
And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
(Al-Maa’idah
5:116-118)
In closing, we hope what you have read has been an inspiration and enlightenment for you,
as well as an encouragement to learn more about the Quran, the teachings of Islam, and the
life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I pray to Allah that he may keep us in the best of health and give us Hidayah. Ameen =)
O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous – [He] who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped).
(Al-Baqarah 2:21-22)
JazakAllah hu khair for reading. =)
