Assalamualiakum wa rahmatullah hi wa barakatuhu =)
As it is 7Th of July and the Holy month of blessing * Ramadan* would begin in about 12 or possible 13 days(depends upon the moon), so i thought of writing something about How to really prepare for Ramadan so we have the greatest possible share in the blessings.
So one of the most hardest things to do is get up early at 4:00 o'clock. Whether you are a teenager, an adult or an old man, Nobody wants to leave the comfy bed and get up to pray(except for the people who have great Strength And Imaan). Even i wake up after my mom slaps me right in the face 1-2 times. =D I was going through one of the islamic pages and found an amazing way to wake up for fajr. Steps are:
The Last but Very Important, As ramadan is the month of Blessings, Allah Taalah blesses us with our wishes. Do as much Dua as you possible can with the belief of acceptance.
As it is 7Th of July and the Holy month of blessing * Ramadan* would begin in about 12 or possible 13 days(depends upon the moon), so i thought of writing something about How to really prepare for Ramadan so we have the greatest possible share in the blessings.
So i am going to tell you the easiest ways you can adopt and get all set for Ramadan
- Getting up early
So one of the most hardest things to do is get up early at 4:00 o'clock. Whether you are a teenager, an adult or an old man, Nobody wants to leave the comfy bed and get up to pray(except for the people who have great Strength And Imaan). Even i wake up after my mom slaps me right in the face 1-2 times. =D I was going through one of the islamic pages and found an amazing way to wake up for fajr. Steps are: - Before Sleeping, Put your alarm clock or your mobile which has the alarm(which ever you prefer) in the bathroom or at some place where you cant reach while sleeping and has to get up to turn the alarm off. Leave the bathroom door open.
- Sleep peacefully.
- Its fajr time. Your alarm is ringing the bathroom and echoing through the whole house. Get up and turn it off.
- Voila! you are standing in front of the wash sink in the bathroom. Do the Ablution And pray.
This should be it. Try it for one night and you will easily wake up. Make it your habit of getting up early because if you are a mom or big sister, you have to make Sehri in Ramadan.
- After Fajr :
Don't go back to Sleep. Sleeping till 9 or 10 you would waste your half day. If you are a student going to school or an adult going to office, your whole day would be just gone while studying or working. The time from Fajr to the time of getting ready for school or office can be utilized.
- Read the Quran. As much as you can read but Slowly and effectively. Don't be in a rush to study more. Just study it peacefully and slowly even if you can read only one page.
- Read atleast 2 rakah nafal. If you have time and you can read more, well gather as much as you can.
- Keep a Pocket-sized or small Quran with you:
While going out, keep a Small Quran with you in your bag. While you way to office or school, you can easily read 1 -2 more pages.
- Memorize A small Surah Or Some Ayaat:
In your free time, keep reciting the Surah's you have memorized.
- You can recite Ayat'al Kursi. It has a lot of benefits too.
- Recite Durood-Shareef.
- Recite Surah-Akhlas, Surah-Alnaas, and surah-Alfalaq
- The last verses of Surah-Al-Baqarah have great importance. Read their Translation and memorize them.
- Gather Naikis by getting blessings from elders:
Keep your elders(parents, grand parents) happy. Do their small favours and in return get lots of dua and blessing.
- Repentance of earlier sins:
Do Ask everyone in your family and freinds to forgive you if you have hurt them unknowingly. After that, Pray to Allah as often as you can to forgive you and your family and keep a place for us all in Jannat-ul-firdous.
- Keep Doing Dua:
The Last but Very Important, As ramadan is the month of Blessings, Allah Taalah blesses us with our wishes. Do as much Dua as you possible can with the belief of acceptance.
Another Important point to keep in mind is that these are not just specific to Ramadan. As Muslims, We should try to adopt all of these in our daily routine(Reminder to Myself first).
JazakAllah for reading. On the closing, we expect that you would enlighten your Emaan by adopting these habits.
